Masq Green Room, ACen 2008--Siam cosplay

@.@ This thing is incredible. It was scary too! This cosplay is actually two people!

Those are some kickass shoes she's got on...

I don't think I'll be playing Silent Hill anytime soon if I stand to run into this thing...

People! You'll have to ask EmmyLouAngel (that's her youtube username) any questions about how the costume was made, as she was the female component of the couple who was actually in the costume.
The male component (the guy with the likely sore back) is known by the name of daguru, and he can be found here--http://realdaguru.deviantart.com/
So present any "how did you make that?" questions in their direction, as I can only either speculate or shrug my shoulders... I don't know anything about the costume or how it was made.

I just happened to be there to witness it while I was in the Masquerade Green Room with my group.

(Heck, I didn't know the name of the creature until after I put the video up on youtube!)

I don't think they were really trying to sit down as much as they were trying to rest in the best way they could without getting out of the cosplay.

From what I remember, the girl part was taking some of her weight off the guy's back by supporting her feet on the chair. The guy was really tired (I imagine) from walking hunched over with the weight of an entire person on his back.

Have you looked up the actual monster, Siam? It's from Silent Hill 5: Homecoming. This costume is just about the splitting image.

I think I've watched this like 50 times now, it's just so amazing XD Silent Hill cosplayers always go all out with their costumes. Definitely the best cosplay I've ever seen.
