the simple fact is that there is scientific evidence to back up the bible take the city of Ur for instance that was uncovered and archaeologically excavated and revealed many of the stories from the first five books to be true, Quantum physics shows that the big bang theory and creationism are actually one in the same. so yes there is a God and only by ignorance or sheer idiocy does one not see that

the fact is the bible tells you prophecy is the 100% undeniably way to tell the message is true. and the bible has hundreds of them proven correct through secular history.

@pimplahdon If an omnipotent omniscient god really were behind the Bible, one would think it WOULD be without fault. It not being that way goes to show a lot about the character of your god if he does in fact exist. That was the point he was trying to make. And the Bible claiming that the end times will bring about war, famine, earthquakes, etc., means that the inexplicably immoral things condoned in the Bible (slavery, genocide, human sacrifice to name a few) are okay? You're dumb.

What made you believe (before reading it) the bible was the source of evidence that the bible claims to have? Can you find any other source that backs up the bible? (Other people that have read it don't count). What do you think would constitute an accurate test on any bible claim? (Again, just believe doesn't count). Many readers find the bible full of contradictions, why would God inspire such confusion - was this too difficult for the Almighty? How does anyone choose?
