Compared to Exodus you can't beat the excitement on this Panorama night.

  • "Dus In deh face, is dus In deh face, is dus In deh face is dus dus dus!!!"

  • For some mysterious reason, everyone seems to forget the significance of this final night performance. This was the FIRST and ONLY time a steelband has received an ENCORE IN PANORAMA. The thousands at the savannah were so deeply moved that a minute after the band finished playing, spontaneous chants of 'We Want More' erupted from the North and Grand stands.

This is the power of All Stars displayed in the most raw, unadulterated way.

    Congratulations Trinidad All Stars!!

  • @fanofstylistix ......I totally agree with you as it also was my proudest moment in pan. That night I saw old All Stars panmen cry openly on stage. It is a night I will never forget.

  • Can you believe we placed 18th in prelims and came 3rd in semis and finals where we tied with Exodus. Back then you couldn't beat a band with their own song apparently. We still got a standing ovation and an encore which we could not deliver due to it being a competition. This signalled the return of the Mighty Trinidad All Stars after a few years in the wilderness. Long live T'dad All Stars.

  • Swear I Wudda Drop Down In Tha Savannah... MADDNESS MUSIC DIS JAMMM SWEEEEEEEETTTT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Music!!!!

  • I'm so proud to have been part of this musical extraordinaire. It is absolutely one of the greatest moments of my life. After playing, we got such uproar from the savannah crowd, it was totally nerve wracking. “All Stars! All Stars!” They were shouting, “We Want More! We Want More!” I've never felt such overwhelming joy in the 10 years or so that I’ve played the instrument.

  • this is amazing i just love it

  • Brilliant

  • Reminds me of Trinidad Carnival 1977 last time I was there would love to go again sometime

  • we want more,we want more, we want more, no other band ever heard that after a panorama performance, except for exodus ,people say we want less
