MX7XMXD- This is NOT for a first time flyer or even a 2nd this type of plan is very responsive just by design even the smaller one (I have ) needs some weight add to the nose this bigger one would do much better w/ weight added to the nose also , the wing shape makes it tip stall VERY easy- this is my 2 cents worth- look into a small cub or a Epp type for your first plane NOT this one as this will only make want to stop trying good luck to ya

Is there alot of play for the battery, because a lipo bouncing around ins't really that safe
