We are doing a video, documenting this entire project which entails grafting the body of a 1970 Mach1 onto a complete platform of a 2006 Mustang GT 4.6 5-speed. Our goal is to build redesign, and fabricate etc. a 1970 Mach1 body onto a full 2006 platform which includes ALL Mechanical, electrical, safety, suspension drive train, and all technical attributes of a 2006.

The end result will be you walk up to this vehicle which appears to be a beautifully restored Mach 1 in every respect. You then open the door than, -Voila-! you've transcended into 2006. You open the Hood or look under the car it's all 2006. Finally, you get behind the wheel and drive away and it's 2006.

  • @rp94cobra LOLZ "boss vinyls"? YEAH and add a friggin' RAIDERS "vinyl" in the window while we're at it?

  • @rp94cobra Actually, that's not a bad idea to use the '04 Mach 1 rims on a 2011 GT. :-) (By the way, I was referring to the TIVCT 5.0, I'm just old fashioned and prefer to call it a 302. LOL)

The one thing I don't like about modern cars (and this is true of my 5.7 Hemi) is that they don't have the same ka-chug ka-chug of the V8's of yesteryear. They're so smooth and the exhaust so perfectly blended as to be antiseptic.

I'm a huge fan of this car though. Immense creativity and workmanship!

  • @crispiegee1 Why would you not just keep the TIVCT 5.0 those motors are fucking beast! Get a 2011 get a shaker hood kit, boss spoiler, get it painted with boss vinyls and 2004 mach one rims there you go!

  • This is absolutely brilliant work. For the past month, I've been lusting after a 2011 Mustang GT, but this is even better. If I had unlimited funds, I'd ask you to build me one out of a 2011, complete with the new 7000 rpm 302 cammer. :-)

  • dear god I want one

  • This is old school hot roding at its best. Today's generation of car guys are all about "bolt on" parts. Glad to see someone have the guts to take on a project of this caliber.

  • That's badass! Going to very trick when its done

  • wow, that is gonna be awesome when its done! i have a 73 mach 1 and i love it. good luck guys, im sure its gonna be a tough road for that car. ;)

  • awesome. that will be sic once you guys finish it. keep it up.
