  • Expecting the worst after I heard "Tattoo" I was blown away by the rest of the new material. THIS is the MIGHTY VH I grew up on. AWESOME!!!

  • @facelift1 Ignore these meatheads. who gives a fuck how old someone is. unless shes 17...ha ha ha

  • @FliesLikeABanana I feel ya dogg. i was blown away and must admit shocked how epic and heavy it is. matter of fact i played shock me offf kiss alive 2 to make sure:)

VAN HALEN IS BACK BITCHES !!!!!!

  • @facelift1 Yeah- I guess I dig him for his riffs and his tone more than his solos. I'm not a huge Van Halen fan or anything, but I sort of came to respect his contribution to the whole 80's 'metal' scene a lot more now looking back than I did at the time. Anyway- if your username is an Alice in Chains reference, I think we can agree that Jerry Cantrell is a beast! Jerry IS actually one of my favorites. What about Dimebag- did you dig him?

  • @facelift1 dude I totally agree. I was debating with some friends about which is more awesome, the classic facelift stuff or the newer material. Most people point to the older stuff, because, I mean, hey that was facelift in his younger, hungry days, before all the money, hoes and superstardom. But, honestly, the new stuff is what really moves me, you know? Everybody's different, but if being a huge fan of the new facelift is a crime, then lock me up. Dude, you're so awesome!

  • @MonkyMonk729 He's 55 years old. Which isn't old. He's also lucky, because most of his solo's were just finger tapping so arthritis wouldn't come into play as much... I liked the early Van Halen, but really, all Eddie did was finger tap and even a fairly new guitarist can sound impressive tapping if you don't know what it's all about...

  • @jackednpumped All I can say to you jackednpumped is that you are one pathetic loser if that is the best reply you could come up with.

  • @facelift1 C'mon man- Eddie's pushin' 60 for christ sake. Not many dudes are still rockin' that hard at that age. If you don't like the tune or the style- fair enough. But he CAN still play... I mean there's no question you're listening to Eddie here, is there?

  • @facelift1 - dude, I totally agree. This also doesn't hold a candle to some of those classic facelift solos we all grew up on.

  • That is one of the shittiest guitar solo's I've ever heard. Seriously. The guy can't play anymore. Randy Rhoads would have buried Eddie if he hadn't died. He had so much more talent and variety.
