Few lawmakers have expressed as much outrage over President Obama's unconstitutional "recess" appointments as Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT). He was among the first to warn about the consequences of the president's unilateral action on Jan. 4.

More than a month later, a new director is running the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and three members of National Labor Relations Board are conducting business—all in blatant violation of the U.S. Constitution, Lee said in an interview with The Heritage Foundation.

Obama wipes his tush with copies of the Constitution every day. Why would he care about abiding by his Oath, the Law, or the will of the people. judicial verbicide is calculated to convert the Constitution into a

worthless scrap of paper and to replace our government of laws with a judicial

oligarchy or anything but a Republic.

Potus is. Acting like a dictator. He has said in the past that he was going to do what he's going to do, with or without congress. Tell me...how come the Articles of Impeachment haven't been drawn up, already. It's not like he hasn't acted unconstitionally yet. This power grabbing is nothing more than tyranny in the making. The more u let him get away with it, the more he will do it. U guys in DC need to send the white house a crystal clear msg..."u ain't an effin king!"

That's because the pro forma sessions were just created in 2007! Bush had already recess appointed all of the 171 total.

I'm pretty sure had Democrats BLOCKED all of his appointments, starting in 2001, no matter who he appointed, simply on the basis that they did not LIKE any of the laws or agencies for which the nominees were to fill, his administration would have done the same thing! Congress is childish!

It really doesn't matter, because when this gets to the Supreme Court it will be reversed

Ah, but Bush did not push any through while the Profoma was in place. Yes, They did not care for the useless Unions.

George W. Bush had 171 recess appointments.

Barack Obama has had 29 recess appointments.

Ah and the Bush Legal team told Bush that the pro forma session was not valid, but as you can see Bush pushed through so many controversial recess appointments before hand, challenging the pro-forma would look bad.

In the case of Obama. Congress didn't have a problem with the nominees, they just didn't care for the law or the agencies that the nominees were appointed to so they BLOCKED EVERYONE!
