@PanhandlerExpress Can't complain about the type of food you get if you're starving. Some food is better than nothing at all even if you don't like what the Charities give you to eat. If you don't want to eat their food then go ahead and starve.

This video has a good point of it being better to be giving money charities to help instead of these homeless people. I also agree by giving money to these homeless you're just supporting their bad habits, that's the exact reason I never give them money.

@765tony .....I've been visiting the City regularly, since the sixties...Only since the city decided to start paying the homeless, that it became with stragglers from around the country, and now huge sections are overrun with diseased, dirty, mean, filthy bums.

Oh yea, while I struggle to make my mortgage payments, some panhandler staggars up to my door step at 10:00PM asking for a 'Contribution'. But when I asked what charity she was with and to see some ID, she started with the old soft shoe routine. Don't coddle these lowlife scums. There are many agencies which help the poor with food and clothes throughout the year. The capper here was the panhandler begging me for 'donations' left in a Late Model Car! What Nerve!!! Demand ID!

I think many of us feel guilty and then angry too. I have been educated now that I will not give cash. I do support those organizations that do good work though.
