KQ2VGA - Ways to Lose - Part 1 of 4 (Old)

This is an attempt to exhaust all possible ways to lose in the fan remake King's Quest II VGA. Part 1 shows a few clips in Kolyma and the clips during Graham's quest for the Birth Gem.

As always, if I miss something, feel free to let me know. However, I did not include other clips in Kolyma at this point intentionally, so right now this only applies to the underwater section of the game.

Man....when I played this remake I almost had a heart attack when the batmobile popped out of that cave (had my speakers on loud). Unexpected and funny at the same time.

Funny you should ask, considering the quality in my videos is much worse than yours.

These were made by hooking my laptop to a TV through S-video, then hooking that up in turn to a DV camcorder. The damage in quality is due to the fact that the resolution of the game is 640x400, but the DV resolution is 720x480. (You can have the game in 320x200 or 640x400. I recommend the latter because it looks slightly better. The in-game warning was for slow computers in 2002.)
