I don't agree with those Mexican's who say the Southwest is part of Mexico. Clearly, mexico lost the war. I do know that the resentment comes in that AFTER the war many mexicans on the American side of the border had their lands taken away from them through illegal and unethical means that violated the Treaty of Guadalupe. That's what created the resentment that we see today. Perhaps we as american's are reaping a "karmic payback". We may be paying for the crimes of our great-grandparents.

I'm not aware of any mass deportation of any Mexicans from the U.S., ergo the mexican immigrant people claiming to rightfully belong in the U.S. are full of shit. If someone can point me to any information of mass deportation of Mexicans from US soil I'm ready to change my mind.
