Some very atmospheric images there, nice to see some old faves again and yes i was there at the end at Donny in Feb 1982. Such a shame to see the old workhorses being thrown to the winds after proving the doubters 3,000,000 miles each wrong.

Great vid, T4 uploading, me & my mate bunked the yard when the Deltics were awaiting the cutters torch, must've been about 13Yo, got a few souveniers too.

was it 82? may actually been 81 but, i remeber going to "farewell to the deltics" at donny works around 82......sad day.
got some pics of the line of deltics at the "cutters yard" in donny works.
