@bradleypeters1993 Sure the screen is off, but the actual PC (what you might call 'tower' or 'big boxy thingy') is still on. Therefore wasting money.

The guys could just upload his files online, then download them to his laptop, or external hd

@danguy2009 I don't think that's how it works. Although I may be wrong. I was under the impression you could obtain your videos without the monitors or servers being on

Yeah great, so while the rest of the world is trying to get everyone to save energy youve got Microsoft encoraging people to leave their home pc's and servers on while miles away from home.
Seriously, use a portable hard drive or USB stick.
