guys i am willing to get the best federal lawyer in Michigan. i need info on a cbp officer Emery , i think she is developing serious personality disorder. can somebody tell me please if she was abused as a child by some female. i am a woman all i wanted to do is to see car show and take pics, so i took a couple tops she thought i am moving to Detroit, but why would i leave Toronto if i have a child in Toronto? I disagree....Their job could not be easier, cuz there are very few people that would be stupid enough to do somthing at that moment, at that spot. Secondly, if the computer shows that I am a regular boarder crosser, never had any issues and my passport is Valid, then they should not be ABUSING their power on US Citizens. This is supposed to be the country of the free and it says right on our passports that we are allowed to pass with our Hindrance.their jobs are easy and they get good money.

Sometimes talking to them the right way does not help though. It depends there is a lot of Racist Boarder Agents (Not Just on a Black and White Level, but nationality wise) For example even though I am American, I look Middle Eastern. So this comes into play, the way I look at it if your computer history looks good and your Passport is good, there is no reason to even question me... Its abuse of power!!

been a long time since I was pulled over by the guards in the states. My stepmom taught me how to talk to them and I stopped having problems :)

This is exactly the problem with all the boo-hoo sayers and chronic cry babies. Bottom line is if you don't want to be search, "victimized", treated "meanly" and no one to fluff your pillow and massage your feet at the border (like the Canadians) then keep your ass in the U.S!! These people risk their lives for YOU and have no idea who YOU are so be compliant and deal with it. The price YOU pay for traveling internationally!!!

They are just as bad. really you have to get the right one, and thats just luck!. But Taking the bridge is easier and faster contrary to popular belief. They have triple the booths, so they can handle triple the load. Plus in a way I would rather be stuck sitting inside then crammed in a small tunnel under water and sand!
