A fun springtime style inspired by some of the "braided headband" looks I've seen in period fashion images. It's a simple look that is perfect for gals with medium to long hair. You can curl you hair, or leave it naturally wavy for more of a 70s-romantic look as well. Perfect for Valentine's Day, brides, prom--or just a pretty hairstyle for everyday!

  • I'd like to cut my hair so I could do this kind of hairstyles, but I've always wanted to look like an elf so I let my hair grow 'til my chest....I fear that, after cutting them, I won't recognize myself and I will feel really bad. Help me!!

  • @DafniElissa This hairstyle would totally work with longer hair! :)

  • wow this is so pretty. how do you use hot roller? i have just regular rollers and after i use them i end up looking like Captain Hook because it curls my hair way too much. so, how do you use hot rollers, where can i get them and typically how expensive are they? please, i don't want to look like Captain Hook anymore lol.

  • @worldmink I have a video about curling with hot rollers on my channel and there are some great tips in the comments section too! :)

  • What a darling hairstyle. You are a wonderful patient teacher on your video. And as an older lady I can tell you your a very pretty young lady and have "the look" that would have given Lauren Bacall competition back in the 40's.Glad I discovered your video and was wondering what made you interested in this period? Is it the swing dancing that has become popular again?Whatever the reason great video I wish you luck in whatever you do.

  • @BrandonTxOthor It was the fashion that really got me into the era. I grew up watching a lot of classic old films and the elegance and glamor of the period really drew me in and caught my imagination! :) Funnily enough, I've tried swing dancing but still haven't really gotten the hang of it--as much as I love watching people dance! :)
