Notice to everyone.....If you are thinking about hooking up you KEYBOARD to your PC for making QUALITY MUSIC[Beats] or something......PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS METHOD!!!!..... USB is ok, still not the best way to go...... MIDI 100%

@hypamatik ya dude your totally right i was just making a simple tutorial for people who are just getting startedbut im glad you posted this i kno midi is the way to go becuase thats the way i do it now and usb is ok but this method is just for beginners

@dezcoolz this is a very common question but im glad you asked because now that you asked this i can answer most of the peoples problems. this is the most common problem but anyways what you have to do is either have to go in the control panel and mess with the volume of the keyboard on the computer because it reads it as a mic and you can adjust the volume OR you can adjust the volume on the keyboard. either should work but you have to "fine tune" it to make sure there is no distoration

@DrumManDustin95 hell yea bro the midi to usb plugs are and the highest one i seen so far is the yamaha midi to usb plug on amazon n if u check that place out bro u can find alot of things to buy online from tvs,labtop and u name it they sell it even things for keyboards like they have a bunch of midi to usb plugs sum for 5 bucks and sum for 20 something n on n on u just have to look bro but if i get a midi to usb i would get the yamaha one just on the saft side

@DrumManDustin95 yea bro i have a sound card its my m-audio fast track thats where all my sound goes thru n oh for real cuz now when i record i use adobe audtitions n when i first started to get into music i had fl studio 9 then i started to make my own beats but not from a keyboard i use theirs shit u know untill then i got me a keyboard n my nigga dale is a know raper where me n him lives here in san antone his group is called texas finest they go hard n yea i know what u mean

@smokeweed420210 ya ill tell you what if you want some great recording programs and i know the one has hd sound even if you dont have hd sound card is FL Studio 10. thats the one i use and ill tell you what that is an amazing program for recording or mixing any type of music. another good one is tracaxe, Final Cut Pro. but those are just a few of the great ones out there. and i know i got a couple of the yamaha midi to usb and they are expensive im like damn

@DrumManDustin95 yea true on that cuz midi plug to usb plug have the top of the line but i think when i have my keyboard plug into my m-audio fast track when i record my keyboard onto my adobe audtitions i can make the sound perfect its just like useing the midi to usb plug n yea it can save but so can if u record onto a studio software u know n im thinking about buying the the midi to usb plug but i saw this yamaha one is like 50 something bucks i was like damn its high as hell

@smokeweed420210 ya a midi to usb saves a ton of time but this was awhile ago and i guess i need to update the video. but im also going to put up some great software programs for recordings different types of music. but ya midi to usb is the way to go sound quality wise

@smokeweed420210 by useing a fast track n u can still be able to record onto a studio software but if u want to save all the time then just get an midi plug to usb plug that will save u alot of time but the reason why im useing an m-audio fast track cuz i record music

@Tavio509 do u have a m-audio fast track cuz my setup is i have a m-audio fast track n my keyboard connected to the fast track by the 1/4 plug n the m-audio fast track is usb to my labtop n also my speakers to the fast track but once i plug the usb wire from the fast track into my labtop then i can play my keyboard n the sounds is perfect because of the fast track n theres so many ways to do it bro
