what is happening to current musicians, i mean a song so full of meaning that is meant to heal and to put off all da social ills. Fredie's dead is a song that tells dat da reason why freddie is dead is bcse of da man made social beliefs and ills that lead to wrongful actions. The balame is on da society. disn reminds of 2pac.

What's amazing is that as many times as Curtis Mayfield must have done this song, he *always* conveys the song as though it's the first time he's telling the story. He never phones it in.
