Hi Doug and Debbie! How are Shera and Nika doing? How are Angel Bear and Charlie and Honey?
And how is old Vince, aka "Venom", the bullsnake?
Also Hello to David and Cassandra and everybody. I moved to Victoria, but I hope to visit Discovery Wildlife Park again maybe this summer.

How tragic.First time I went Ruth had had an injury so there was no bear show. This time, Alley-oop wasn't coming up when called for pictures. I was so sad, as I truly wanted that picture. They moved on to Betty and sure enough up he came. It's a memory I'll never forget. I am heartbroken that he's passed, but he had a wonderful life, in the care and love of all of you at Discovery Wildlife. Thanks for the memories. Sandy Watkins, Vancouver B.C.

I have been there twice on holidays. It's amazing! The animals are treated like they are their children...so well loved.
I was just there and was kissed by a bear, it was the most awesome amazing thing. His head is so huge, yet, he's the most gentle giant. I heard that Alley-Oop just passed away. This is tremendously sad. My sympathy is with the staff and especially Ruth, who works so closely with them. Wonder if the kissing bear was Alley-oop or was he the chair sitting bear?
