"A Classic Restored". The West Palm Beach Municipal Golf Course reopened on Novermber 16, 2009. It was a celebration of a historic course being restored to its former glory, with imrprovements as well. Arnold Palmer hit the ceremonial first ball, and was joined by course architect Mark McCumber and a great crowd.
Being this was a gov. project; I wouln not be suprised if they completely mucked it up. I am going to play today, and I am a high-capper so let's hope that sands not to ruff.

Not that anybody will see this but i just played the new course last week and also played the old course. i am a low handicapper and played well, however, if you are not a low capper, this course is completely unfair. i understand the concept of the waste bunkers all around the course but they can not have the soft sand that is difficult for most amateurs to hit from. it needs to be the hard sand that carts can drive on as well. the people i played with said they will not play it again
