  • @estw Maybe you should realize that they were given the chance to surrender. They refused, what would have us do fire bomb them for another 5 years, or maybe we should have invaded at the cost ofm possiblity of 3 - 5 million deaths. Rememmber this what they Japanese did in China, it was so horrible the Chinese today still want an apology for Naking.

  • Viva Mexico!! ( xD )

  • oh sh%$! This is just like fu%$in China today!

  • @estw Germany got much worse and would have been better off to have only suffered the 2 bombs. Over 1.5 million tons of TNT equivalent of TNT was dropped on Germany, about 25Kilo tons of TNT dropped in the two bombs (one was 10kt the other around 15kt). Not to mention most of the people who died in Japan were vaporized instantly, while Germans suffocated or were burned to death.

  • @estw Provoked? 7/25/41 FDR ordered an oil embargo after Japan occupied all of French Indochina. He hoped to persuade J tto withdraw from China. 12/7/41 J attacked Pearl Harbor. they sowed the wind, they reaped the whirlwind.

  • @estw

Provocation does not mean Japan had to attack the USA. Japan chose war because they wanted to fight. Thus, the fault is their own for war has repercussions and their own people suffered because of it. If history is written by the victors then the USA dropped the bombs on Japan to win the war. Any other view would be mere speculation.

  • @kentamitchell so if u are Japan and I am USA ,u have masive loses like 80k(not 200k from the bomb )and you have no defense against me I am going to think "shit he has nothing" I am going to nuclear bomb him.But my business is to make money from trouble and sell wepons i dont care who ,what or why the trouble exists.

  • @Druj4x If you read more about the attack, the japs were provoked and lets be honest the americans didnt drop"them"to end the war, they droped'em to prevent more losses. From more present examples we learn that USA loves wars, specialy with underdeveloped countries. After they joined the ww2 with a maximum delay they claimed the winnings that were accomplished by the soviets with twice more losses then"THE POOR"jews and their overrated holocaust."History is written by the victors"so all u read its...

  • @estw

And if America didn't drop those bombs the war would have dragged on for many more years. Hundreds of thousands more people would have died. And America would have never drop nukes on Japan if Japan never attacked the USA first.

  • @Falamu445 We ended up making deals with the commanders of Unit 731 for their research data in exchange for amnesty. Also the war crimes trial in Japan was nowhere near as publicized as the one in Germany.
