  • What's in the butter? Haha

  • @pktchort It was a sage butter that I had leftover from Thanksgiving. It tasted amazing!

  • khachapuri is the best )) but im sick of it , what's popular as khachapuri in Australia ?

  • @StrangeCrew There is a Georgian restaurant a few suburbs over that I'm dying to try!

I haven't seen khachapuri anywhere here, but I'm sure it exists. The closest thing Australians would eat would be garlic bread.

    Thanks for watching.

  • You burnt it... :) And it's usually fried in the skillet.

You could use 50-50 Mozzarella and Feta (or Ricotta cheese)... Some people also add an egg to the cheese mixture...

  • @newyorkerdude06 I've cooked Khachapuri a few times with different recipes, and just my luck that the one I film I burnt! Still tasted excellent though.

Thanks for watching, and the tips. I'll have to give that a try.

  • @TheGGJourney there are different types of Khachapuri and all of them are unbelievable :D If any questions about Georgian food, can ask me :) I'm Georgian, and I'm chief :)

  • @pktchort Imeruli is the one that the video uploader makes (wrong way though :D:D:D:D) Thats not even close to Khachapuri :))) but still looks yammy :))) The one you see in the streets is Fenovani :) which are being baked in my oven just now :))))

  • another four minutes was just too much ))

  • great thanx for this video. last moth i was in georgia, i ate it here, and it tastedd sooo awesome, that's why i wanted to cook it today myself. for me khachatpuri is the georgian pizza :)

  • I made my attempt at the pan-cooked Khachapuri, used yogurt. It turned out well, althought I'd like to perfect the flaky-dough Khachapuri that is so commonly seen @ street vendors in Georgia. I think it's Imeruli.
