Andy Brown, Managing Director Pearl GTL and Executive Vice President for Shell in Qatar, explains how the giant Pearl GTL plant gives Qatar the chance to turn its abundant gas reserves into high-quality liquid products.
Dear Shell I love how your one of the few Oil company trying to get away from Crude Oil. But my question is The GTL is produced by turning methane to "syngas" and syngas can be made from biomass through gasification. So i think you can use biomass to take some demand off of methane. GTL makes sense.
Did you say 10% of Shell's production? Do you mean 10% of Shell's fossil fuels will be GTL? That's incredible.
Does this mean more V-Power Diesel-esque products, or will you just blend it with petrodiesel?
