  • I just bought the Becky and Bill Lawrence L-500XL pickup and installed it today. I cannot believe how awesome this pickup is. I replaced my dimebucker with this and there's a huge difference. The tone is punchier, the chords are clearer, there's more gain, and harmonics scream out and sustain forever. I want to put this in all my guitars holy crap they're awesome. Go and buy these

  • ...you just gave me a video idea =)

  • where did you got this? wildepickups or billlawrenceusa?

  • Haha, I got it off of ebay, dude. It was the only place I could find it

  • what the hell are you doing there

  • @weaselpopper there is no fakes both are real

  • i have the bill lawrence l500xl from bill and becky lawrence and it sounds so heavy,i get all kinds of harmonics too

  • @wslx0195 There is a big difference trust me. Took the guy 10 years to just figure out how to not make them squeal like a pig.His whole life has been devoted to trying to make those pickups and getting it right. Willi didn`t just give the specs to Lace and say here ya go.He is coaching and instructing them who are already pickup builders, in the correct way to make his pickups. If I could have one from Les or Paul I would choose it.That is what were taking about having that choice.

  • @weaselpopper My point is that BLUSA are NOT copycats. They are the products from the same company that come from the same patents at the time. If anything, the copy cats are from "bill" because he cant use the same original patents (sadly because he wrote it). Thats like getting mad because you bought a LP or PRS not made by the hands of Paul or Les themselves even though they're from Gibson or PRS.

  • @wslx0195 Apply that to anything else.Do you want the original or the copy.Gee, I could have one built by the guy that designed them to begin with or the ex business partner that took the design and ran with it.

Go buy a copy cat strat while you are at it.You are not educating me about the history between them.

Name one thing that BLUSA has ever done since. The list goes on and on for Willi`s accomplishments in pickup design. Enough said!

  • @weaselpopper There are no fakes man. If you look into the whole legal and business aspects, BLUSA are making them with the same licensed designs that Willi made. He split from the company after bankrupting them by outsourcing their materials in Germany and pocketing the profits. Because he didn't want to have to pay off the debt, he left the company and any legal ties between him and the business, including his patents at the time. New Wilde L500s (from 'Bill' and Becky) are actually different

  • lace pickups make them. go to their webiste and all the way on the left you will see wilde. click on it, and it will take you to his site to buy them.

  • what model is your guitar?

  • where can u get the "REAL" Pickups cause im looking for one and i dont want to get the cheap knock-off?
