Originally, there's no gasket inbetween the 2 pieces,right? could you add one? I always wondered that.....

Looks like someone else may have been in that engine. When they split the case they used a screwdriver right at that point to get them to separate. DON'T EVER DO THAT!!!!!! A little bit of high pressure RTV "might" solve the problem. But it's going to take a complete tear down of the engine.

Oh snap! That is TERRIBLE! Maybe it's just the bad sound quality, but I also hear loud knocking in there. Any internal damage?
