The fast-paced and well chorepgraphed ninja fight from Corey Yuen's (former Peking Opera classmate of Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao) 1982 directorial debut Ninja in the Dragon's Den. One of the few times a Hong Kong Kung Fu film has shown Japanese arts as a thing of such grace. Hiroyuki Sanada (taught by the legendary Sonny Chiba) fights a member of his own stunt team in a dazzling display of Kendo and Ninjitsu. It is by far the best fight in the film, simply because it is so original in its appraoch and execution (and it doesn't feature the intolerable Conan Lee). Even Hwang Jang Lee's finale in the film doesn't reach this one's remarkable standards. I give it 4/5. Please rate and comment. You can check out the rest of the Top 10 list on my page.
