Final Fantasy 7 - Special#07 - Getting Cosmo Memory (Red XIII Limit Level 4)

Final Fantasy 7 (PSX) Gameplay - Boss#14 (Opitional) - Lost Number

Well, after defeating Gi Nattak & Soul Fire, take the Materia Gravity. Follow to the north and see a scene that shows the Story of theRed XIII father (Seto).

Leave Cosmo Canyon and choise Red XIII for your group... Notice that he will get a great weapon (Seraph Combo).

Go now to Fort Condor.

*** Fort Condor - Sixth Battle ***

Battle # 6 / Against 25 Enemies / Prize: 5 Hi-potions.

Return to Cosmo Canyon Area and follow the west (Now you can go for that path). Head west all the way (world map) and you find a rare enemy aka Bagrisks. Try to steal the rare item Vagyrisk Claws. Go to north, cross the sea and find Nibelheim.

Follow to the left house, until find a man with Black Cape. He will give you Luck Source. Talk to the man at the entrance and pay 100 Gil for rest.

In the second room to the left, find Item Store. Go right and find another man in black cloak. Get Elixir.

Follow to the first house on the right and up the stairs. Find Luck Source.
Follow to the second house on the right and talk to the man. Get Turbo Ether. Climb the stairs and talk to another man. Get Platinum Fist.

Follow to the second house on the right and talk with the man. Get Turbo Ether.

*** Shinra Mansion ***

Now, go to Shinra Mansion. You will find the following items:

Silver M-Phone / Magic Source / Enemy Launcher / Twin Viper

Go to 2f Mansion and take the secret passage to the right, toward Library. See a scene with Sephiroth. After the scene, Sephiroth plays the Materia Destruct. Take it and get out there. Well, you must have noticed on the second floor, you find a safe where you have to unlock it. This is opicional, but the reward is very useful.

Follow to the top, left (small room) and note the notebook. It describes hints for the numbers of the safe. Please note:

(1) Check the empty box where you got Enemy Launcher. You'll see "Right 36";

(2) Note the shelf right of the piano and you'll see "Left 10";

(3) Go to where you got Magic Source. Look around the entrance of the room with that chest and press "Ball Button" (to the left of the entry). You'll find "Right 59".

(4) Check the laptop at the beginning. You will not see this option, but put the cursor below the Hint 3 and you will see "Right 97".

Go now to the safe and put the right combination... Remember, you can't run until after the counting of the numbers, may not return or exceed the numbers. Good luck!

After open the safe, you will find a challenge... Lost Number!

HP = 7.000 / MP = 300 / AP = 80 / EXP = 2.000
Weak = N/A / Immune = Gravity
Level = 35 / Drop = Cosmo Memory

Strategy: Well, Lost Number is quite varied attacks (Bolt, Bolt2, Quake, Quake2, Bio, Bio2, Lost Blow, Phisical Attacks, etc.).
Start the battle using Big Guard (cast Barrier, MBarrier Haste). Choco/Mog also can be very useful and can cause Stop on the Boss. You can also use the Enemy Skill Beta, because it is Superpower here. Ice3 is also a good option. When taking a part of their HP, Lost Number will be red... From that moment, use only normal attacks.

The enemy will drop Cosmo Memory (Red XIII Limit Level 4)

Check inside the safe and get 'Key to the Basement." Near to the safe too, get the Materia 'Odin' (Summon).
