Hayami's Revenge (Part 1)

Some people will probably remember this game as being called "Crash 'n Boys Street Challange," with altered sprites and backgrounds. This video is of its original Japanese release, "Bikkuri! Nekketsu Shin Kiroku! Harukanaru Kin Medal."

Of all characters, this run uses THE worst one: Hayami. His life metre is at mere 140 (255 being the maximum); and his strength/speed/defence average is among the lowest.

So he's weak, slow, and fragile.
Until the 'tool' is used to turn him into a superman.

With instant save-loads and slow-downs, he becomes the character that dominates all five challanges in the game. He plays tough and dirty; and doesn't shy away from absolutely humiliating his competitions every chance he gets.

Damn, Milo/Hayami is an absolute beast! Tell me... what "tool" (hint hint) was used here?

Most NES emulators (I was using VirtuaNES here) allows you to adjust the game speed to whatever rate you want. I slowed the game wayyyy down while recording all the inputs, and when sped back up to the actual speed, it seems like I'm pulling some uber precise moves.

Hayami is good in Downtown Nekketsu Koushinkyoku if you give him a stick in the fighting arena.

I never played that one enough to know much about it, to be honest. Once I do enough practice, I could probably make some videos much alike these Kin Medal ones.
