As an elder, I first fell for Oldman's acting skill while watching Sid & Nancy (which I only watched because I had seen the Sex Pistols in concert and was taken). From that moment on, I was snagged, hook, line and sinker into the gold that is Oldman's world. The man has wings and the true complexities of his real personality -- how he manages to harness them -- while creating such vivid characters -- is mind-shattering. He is brilliant. He's scary, daunting, and charming and magnetic.
