@insanecaine : Actually, Music has a BIG part in worship. Kiki was NOT being a show-off...she was calling them out! So many musician's dont know how to play on one accord and she was just letting them know "LOOK, you have be in tune with the other musicians around you, the saints/audience, AND whoever has the Mic". Back in the day in COGIC, if you was foolin around like these musicians, the speaker would've just told you to get up and leave! But see the HOLYGHOST (MUSICIANS!)can help all of that

What show-off. Sometimes you have to know when to quit beiIng SOOO dramatic. I think this was less about letting God have His own way, and more about her wanting to be the one who started a praise break in which God had His way. Oh and Kiki, despite what you do for a living - worship has NOTHING to do with music and how well the musicians are "in tune."

I always thought COGIC had hype bands at their conventions? What happened this night, nobody was available? How many times the band got their cue and they did nothing? No wonder Kiki called them out.

I woulda stopped EVERYTHING and called for other musicians that know how to flow...she gave them a key to start in...they went their own way...she gave them cues...they werent payin attention...at that point, the whole band woulda been fired on the spot...smh
