Peter Holik's goal at 12:26 of the third period broke a 2-2 tie and led the Czechs a stunning 5-2 victory over the United States this afternoon at Rexall Centre. The Czechs made the final round while the U.S. faces possible relegation-round play.

  • Im from the United States but i am smart enough to realize that the USA did not deserve to advance nor do i feel that bad that they were eliminated. It seemed they came in overconfident and didnt play the game they are capable. Aside from this, i want to congratulate the Czechs, they played outstanding and im happy for them. Petr Mrazek has a very bright future and he really played well. Hope the Czechs can continue to a medal
