The leading candidate to succeed Hillary Clinton as US Secretary of State has dropped out of the race. UN Ambassador Susan Rice had been heavily criticised over the response to the attack on the US consulate in Libya. Al Jazeera's Rosiland Jordan reports.

You should go read Glenn Greenwald's article about Susan Rice because it has citations and evidence and cuts to the actual substance of this discussion. I've already outlined the points that Greenwald makes.
