  • This video is totally out of sync with the audio. What's going on?

  • @easyhec you had an older model. it is now electric steer. No oil to leak. I have 4 of these. They are fantastic and my drivers love them.

  • @easyhec I've worked in warehouses in many roles, in many capacities, and many Lift Trucks.

In my area, everyone disses the crowns just because the ones they have or had, were very old and outdated. Sometimes I get the feeling that managers aren't aware that crown STILL makes lift trucks.

  • @easyhec well I just don't like the ones where you have to either stand toward the mast or with the mast behind you.. I like to stand sideways. Much like most of the Crown Reaches I've used in my career. The Raymond Reach model where you stand sideways, I've only seen at ONE workplace. And TRUST ME, I've worked at A LOT of workplaces.

I like Raymonds for Order Picker, and the newer Dock Stockers.

Crown I like for Walkie/Rider and Reach. I HATE the newer Raymond Walkie/Riders.

  • @2528997 crowns have more metal. they are built like tanks. I dont work much with the later ones, like the 5000 series with the 1-2-3 modules. I'm sure they are as reliable as raymonds. In my area, managers hate crown for their service quality.

  • @2528997 In most warehouses, when there are raymond and crown lifts, the operators go for the raymonds first and leave the crowns for the guy that came in late that day. Especially the crown opc. They are bulky and square. The tractor is bigger, and so taking a turn or making a donut feels more cumbersome. Nevermind the color.

  • They forgot to install the ballast weights.Yeah the lift is ready to go to work and then fall over with the weight.

  • @2528997

I am a service technician. I am at the workplace everyday! And most of the 7400 model line are all electric steer anyhow. There are not too many with hydraulic steer motors and I still say they don't leak! Maybe you are thinking about the old EASi reach trucks?

  • @easyhec What's your opinion on Crown Reaches?
