@HockeyGamer94 i love simo to but it's the fact that vassili could have easily shot 705 germans as well but that's because he ONLY shot high priority leaders which is alot more important than pot shootings russians (not saying it's easy to do it's not it really is not especially when you don't know where you hit it's a total bitch) and simo was not a sniper but a rifleman for a rifleman he was amazing

@scapicoco technology of the time is the almost exact as it was in world war 2 the winchester 70 is that of any modern bolt system which the kar98k is almost the exact same there is not a huge difference yeah the difference different design of firing pin lugs attached to bolt sleeve little things like that but there quite similar there was no huge difference in tech as in vietnam they still used most ww2 rifles and just modified ww2

@scapicoco by far do you mean mostly 300 yards because that is commonly the standard range for snipers back at the time and still today as it's very rare to engage targets past 600 meters and you do realize that he was not the only finnish soldiers there were thousands of finnish soldiers with him look at modern war you engage targets less than 200 yards even 100 yards if you are infantry

@MrDip02 "there has been over 200 germans that were very clsoe to him snipers are FAR from the enemy not less than 100 yards"... you said 100 yards... with huge number of enemies... you can't survive at less than 100 yards with the rifle even if you can cycle it fast with that number of enemies... so degrading him to a regular rifleman from a sniper is insane "because snipers don't shoot at less than 100 yards".. you're saying he is shooting at less than 100 and therefore not a sniper..
