  • looks like 29 Palms. Gotta love the Stumps

  • @whitey7011

its actually China Lake. I took the vid

  • simular to the bell 412, except upgraded avionics, powerplants, drivetrain, and countermeasures. Far greater payload as well, this aircraft will que out before it maxes out on gross weight.

  • this is the newly designed huey my friend

  • That's bullshit that they landed that time. When I was onboard I had to drop a foot or two and then do the reverse to get back on...with all of my gear on no less...

  • you did a pinacle landing, thats why

  • the old hueys had some version of the Lycoming T-53L engine. the yankee models don't have these engines. the H model, as well as A,B,C, D, M, and other models as well as the single engine snake had the lycoming engine as well. the civilian models were Bell 204s, and 205s.

  • genius, take two proven helicopter systems (cobra, huey) update them and have them use 80%of the same engine parts

  • @mjm9536 I realized that days ago. My mistake

  • @racerx526 the 412 12 is the huey. just the civi variant

  • @MattKearneyFan16 incorrect. army and guard both retired the uh-1 over a year ago. the only few left in service that i am aware of are those with Flatiron at fort rucker which are actively being replaced by 72's. all the other hueys at fort rucker are for AF SUPT-H

  • @Cj816 Army including Air National Guard. Firefighters use it to fight fires and the chopper is used for other things as well.

  • there are three reason i want to be a Marine chopper pilot:

    1. i've always had an interest in aviation

    2. it seems like being in the Marines is a good life path

and 3. i just love that sound.

  • what other branches still fly the huey?

  • @Stretedge me too. Too bad i'm only in high school now and gotta wait 6 more years. What about u

  • with the grace of god i plan on being an air crewman on one of these beasts. cant imagine anything better!! usmc all the way!
