I know this gonna sound real stupid but I actually use this hold in wrestling matches. It is a really good submission and I thank these guys for putting it up. This is another masterpiece added to my collection of submissions.

The silly names are on purpose for easy memory. there are 100s of moves, and talking about them is easier when every single position and transition has a name. There are over 50 chokes now. choke #1, #2 etc... does not help. Once you actually start learning jiu-jitsu you realize how important i. t is You can also yell out names at competition, "go-go plata!" is easy to follow. yelling "put your foot there, no i mean the other side" is a fail. hope that helps.

jiu-claw, like jiu-jitsu. also making fun of the borat stunt. jiu-claw is a position you can battle from.

@joeltsmitty I don't think you'd need to use this technique against a less experienced player. However it gives some insight into how you can use your body against your opponent. I would just defend by bending the toes. If someone defends by bending their toes I battle their wrist and push their arm out. Eddie Bravo's DVD "mastering the rubber guard" is the killer basics you need to master first. I go-go choke people all day. some times it doesn't work, nothing always works ;)

@amabo187 Question: Do you think this a good technique against a less experienced practitioner, or do you think if he was a jiu-jitsu player how had basic fundamentals in mind, would easily defend such?
-
@JazzNL94 not quite....its the position that allows you to go for an omoplata as well as other submissions.
-
@Calimontcg that's another word for an omoplata
-
@PKRun11 I actually think they help a lot. Each name is a distinct move and helps people remember what to do for each step.
-
So anyone else think the names for each move sound stupid?? Zombie, chill dog, newyork...just say put ur foot here, leg here, an grab ankle...ta da you did it.
-
Too complicated to pull off in a real fight .. Simple is best! Thanks for posting though, a lot of thought in that one..
did he just say jew-claw???

the problem with this entire sequence is that when you gogo your opponent, they can defend by pushing down & bending your toes/top half of your foot like a wrist lock. it will make the gogo-er tap from bottom every time. you can't let their hand defend for even one second.
