@aurasurfer This is actually December 1984. I saw them on this tour a couple of months earlier and I own the home video, which states that it was performed and recorded right before they took their Christmas break on their tour in support of the "Phantoms" album.

If Bowie and Daltrey got trapped in a Star Trek transporter, their molecules merging into one being, you might get a singer who sounds somewhat like Cy Curnin. But Cy is completely in a class all his own.

Cy, one of my favorite singers. I love him and The Fixx. They're so frickin' underrated. Awesome music and lyrics. Truly great musicians.

this is 1983 in St Petersburg at the old mahaffey theatre, i wasnt there but I was 13 and couldnt make it to this show on my bike :) one of my fav fixx songs. they did a vid of this show and stayed at the don ce sar on st pete beach. Ive seen them numerous times and met my wife at the fixx show in 1991!
