I get that this is an unusual case, but why is this so different from when a woman kills her husband because he was beating on her? Just imagine if the roles were reversed. None of those newscasters would be making jokes and laughing...they would be screaming for blood and telling her to fight back.

Okay, I could understand Anna's reaction if the guy was 6'4'' and 200 pounds and was beating on his 5'2 and 100 pound wife because she slapped him. Quite obviously, this is not the case. I am of the school of thought that a man should never hit a woman under any normal circumstances (i.e. if someone is trying to kill my family, I don't give a shit if it is a male or female, I'll do what I have to and then ask questions later), but quite obviously she has the physical advantage over this guy...
