@MrxCaptainxManny Nah, there's an actual reason for genres, and that is to classify the type of music style you want to listen to. It's more like an organizational thing. But a lot of people let genres of music dicate their life, and "can't listen to another genre, because they're arrogant douches." I like genres, because I like knowing what bands have a similar taste in music, without having to listen to a billion songs to find something similar. But some people go way retarded with genres.

I don't see how people say this is grindcore, deathcore or metalcore at all. This sounds like pure modern Death Metal to me, i don't hear any breakdowns in their music soooo that rules out the whole deathcore/metalcore shindig. Can't be grindcore either cuz the vocals aren't very low growls and the songs are all longer than 2:00 sooo yeahh. Seems like metal bands these days are being labeled certain genres just based off of appearance.
