Heavy Barrel (NES) level 1 speedrun strategy guide

This is scroll game, but it not are autoscroll game. But you can,t run like crazy, because your character run faster than screen scroll.

This is awesome game. Cool music, cool levels. Difficult setiing is quite high, but with enought practice you can beat game without trouble. This game is not too random memory is just your best friend.

-Speedrunning that game you need alot different strategy. Deaths is not good, because you lost your all weapons like Contra games. Normal gun is really bad weapon. I´ll say normal gun in Contra is just alot better weapon.

-You have limited amount shots.
A-weapon is you normal weapon. (normal gun, spread, flame)
B-weapon (blue grenade, red grenade, mace, stars)
+Game includes some other weapons like heavy barrel, but it requires collect enought pieces.

-You can open boxes with keys. Red enemys drop keys.

-Most effective weapons are red grenades. But against some bosses flame is more better. Spread is not good against bosses, but it help alot with levels.

This is not speedrun, but i wanted recorded every levels and plan speed strategys. I think i am interested try single segment speedruns in future. This time i just plan strategys and i use savestate once per level.
