I agree in what you are saying, but I think you are wrong. Maybe if I was living in Japan permanently, a Japanese girl may seem to like me even if I did like her. I don't pursue anyone. I pursue myself and my interest in life (video games, my stories and updates for my game, and websites). I may be similar to them.

Thank you very much for your response. I highly doubt her possibly moving to a new school being pretext because she told me that right after I first met her. I told her that as an ALT I move to a new school every year and she told me that this year, she may have to do the same. I even also saw her talking to the other teachers about it one day, she was crying a lot. I felt so bad for her. She really doesn't want to leave the school.
