@dntutley It's called iStat Pro. I have it too, its works wonders, without it I would be in major problems. Well it's perfect for me because I have a Hackintosh!!!

@ ikicaq or anyone..... If I do a tutorial on Garageband for example...I'm having audio issues...the audio ( using a Apogee Duet sound card) is really low on the recorded video but not when I'm recording it... any suggestions

Curious where you got the CPU usage monitors you have on top right of your computer?

@dntutley sorry, but I don't remember, at the time iStat menu's was not compatible with snow leopard, so I used this program for a few weeks until iStat was ready for snow leopard. I have been using iStat ever since and it is much better then the one shown here.

So you would save a QT recording as a .mov file and then import it into iMovie to add and edit for a finished 'video' that you can then share on YouTube?

yes you could do that, but you can also upload to youtube directly from Quicktime if you dont want to do any editing.

I was curious to see how the screen capture feature worked in quicktime X. Thanks!

so was I, and it looks like Quicktime has a much richer texture to the video, better overall quality
