Sorry for the delay on this one guys. I hope to put out a few more of these soon, as well as get some new faces out there, as I'm sure you're bored of mine by now :)
@bendaytonisaac That is excellent news! When did that start? I had recommended it earlier this fall to a "strategic improvement" team but no one said it was already part of the curriculum.
@LutherSetzer I'm happy to say that THE SEVEN HABITS OF HIGHLY EFFECTIVE TEENS is actually now a part of the Junior Student Life curriculum at NCSSM! All Juniors are required to read it for this class.
i really appreciate the genuine effort you put into these. PRETTY SWEET DUDE. "ya come on, ya check out..." uhh awk. your hair looks nice. you should step it up as a senior brother though... smh. "we're happy that we're weird." lullz. OH. i actually did learn something. i never knew what IVIZ stood for. wow. mind blown.
Thanks for posting these informative video logs. They help prospective students to gain insight. One change I really wish NCSSM would make involves the community living training they require first term of the junior year. Numerous fine books like THE SEVEN HABITS OF HIGHLY EFFECTIVE TEENS by Sean Covey could provide a common philosophical framework regardless of religion or other background. Such a framework could provide a more universal methodology for social interaction and goal-setting.
@LutherSetzer To be honest, I'm not sure. I'm a junior this year and know that we had to read it (At least parts of it).
