Changing oil on a 2006 Tundra isn't too bad once you have done it. Couple of things to note - the drain bolt is mounted on a vertical orientation and the oil filter is buried pretty deep below the battery. It is hard to get enough leverage to get the filter off - In fact I would recommend you first loosening the oil filter before you drain the oil as this bugger can be difficult to remove. Use vice gripes or pliers made for oil filter removals

  • @trochero80 6.5 quarts for the v8 - i'm pretty sure the capacity for your v6 is in your owner manual. Look up in the index oil filter or oil capacity and it should say. also call the toyota dealer in your area and ask the service department they will tell you for sure.

  • thanks for video i have a 2007 how many quarts of oil for a v6 if you know please let me know
