Best Riddle! (when you know the solution!)

IMPORTANT, READ! A FEW MORE THINGS TO ADD...

Loads of people want things cleared up so here are a few more "rules":
1. They all know which way each man is facing and who can see who.
2. They are all clever people (well not that clever seeing that they caught!), ie. they know when they can or cannot answer and they all want to be released. All the men know this.
3. This rule will be added in, although I must admit, those who came up with the reason I have to include it, have thought long and hard and it's a very clever. The rule being, it's a murky, dark and fairly cool/cold day.
4. Chuck Norris isn't one of the men.
5. Same with Derren Brown, Superman etc.

That should bring happiness to a few lives and keep the trolls a bit happy.

Try out this riddle. Pause the video whenever you need to, to take down the details. The solution is quite simple and you just need to put your mind to it. NO CHEATING!! See how much you can do before you start searching the web for solutions.

C because they know there is two black and two white he sees b and d have white hats so he knows that him and a have white hats he says white and they leave :)

@MartinaAndersonHD Ok, let's say they could look up and see their hat (which they can't), which one of the 4 men would be the one that answers? And why that man in particular? The riddle states that one of the men answers, but if all of them could see their hats then all of them could have answered.

But as you say, the answer video reveals the answer.
