@Zlaterrr I imagine, like any exercise, stretching, or diet routine, that you have to maintain your gains by continually working on them. I'm not sure there is a such thing as a "permanent" increase in flexibility.

Would opening up the hips like this help prevent going into lumbar flexion at the bottom of the squat?

Great video! I never realised how tight my hips were until I tried this. The only question I have, I thought static stretching was a bad idea pre-workout? Is it a good idea to do this immediately before squatting?
