2:25 point Actor Adam West neglects to see the flashing phone (the sound effect was either added in post production) or as Adam described in his memoir his Batcowl was so tight fitted over his head and covered over his ears that he often found it hard to hear! He also humorously described the nose bridge of his cowl caused him to see "cockeyed".

I swear that I am not calling her ugly at all but that ‘Pussycat’ girl isn’t that all attractive looking; especially in that silly pink outfit that she’s wearing, looks positively ridiculous and it makes ‘Robin’s’ getup look less laughable. And she looks much older then “20” if you ask me; also I say that’s much too old for “The Boy Wonder” who only like 15 for the second season of the show.

Because Burt Ward wanted to play Robin as being innocent and all that, So the character would appeal to the kids. The thing is we don't know what happened when the cameras were turned off. What Burt Ward as himself wanted to do then. To all those girls and ladies that starred on the show.
