  • LOVE Dengue fever!

  • Khmers people are probably the one of the most artistic people on earth. Khmers are very good in musics, fashions designs, arts, literature, architecture, musical instrusments, temple buildings, anythings that relates to cultures. And don't forget fighting art, Bokator, not muay ti. Muay Ti is a copy and market it to the world. Long Live Ros Sereysothea and Sinsamouth...

  • The lead-in was different, but this is Ros Sereysothea's song Jam 10 Kai Theit (Wait 10 Months More). Do a search on youtube and you'll find the original (with still pictures).

  • The Cambodian Space Project also have a great version of this classic khmer rock'n'roll song. Could anyone help me find it?

  • Excellent ! Pretty COOL.

  • @megnradx07 yes, "dop" does indeed mean "10". so wtclark just has it slightly off when phonetically spelling the khmer name for the song "wait 10 more months," which should be "cham dop kai theat"

apparently both songs were the soundtracks made for a film, which explains the story-like sequence. i just read about this in an another youtube post, so it may or may not be wrong. :)

  • @wagneratior2430 wtf??? whats ur problem

  • @wtclark1 Interesting! I didn't never knew that there was a serie. Thanks for sharing the info. I've heard of this song before, but never put the two and two. Not to criticize your comment, but isn't Brum or Pram means 5? Because dop means 10. I wouldn't know just commenting on what you wrote. I would have to listen again to the original song again to find out. But thanks for sharing.

  • @hirofan A jewish banker and a beautiful girl making music.
