Bottom line, What should I buy??

because I'm looking to buy and I don't want my head to explode either.

@greenhoneybee08 I think any Garmin product WITHOUT the traffic feature would be fine. Newer model Tom-Tom units are also fine. I like the Tom-Tom because you can actually download different voices like Darth Vader...lol

@saltyshellback Honestly, I personally think that you need and deserve a free upgrade from Garmin for your time, money and aggravation. If it had been me going through this, they would have gotten this unit back on their desk with 20+ bullets in it and still smokin'. Lol! I know that you are just one more error message away. Have them give you a new one that has been tested by manufacturer,or free upgrade.You paid good money, and they didn't deliver. you deserve for them to fix it right away:)

@dsmith019 LOL...still smoking...I like that :-) I have to say that besides the traffic feature and the slow loading, it gets me to where I need to be. I think it just tries to do too much. On a recent trip, I used my small old GPS and it was enough for what I needed to do. The other thing I found out I didn't like was the speed limit indicator. It makes me complacent about paying attention to actual posted speeds and has gotten me in trouble :-( totally my fault though.

@mrdanontoast I'm glad i could spare someone from buying this POS...Garmin had disappointed me on this one. A co-worker had a Tom-Tom and it worked really well. I liked the different voices you could get with it. I may get a Tom-Tom next.

By the way, I have another update to post about this Garmin soon. The time estimate test showed that that feature sucks too.

Thanks for the reviews on this...was going to get this for the traffic but not anymore. Plus ADS for an advertised lifetime feature - no thanks garmin.

Did you post this before and take it down, then repost it? I thought I saw the thing on my to watch page, then nothing and bam here you are. OK I could be dillusional, but I don't think so.
