Hello knitters! This video will show you how to take back knit stitches one stitch at a time. You might need to do this if you make a mistake but don't realise it for a few stitches and then need to 'reverse' a little.

This technique is designed to be used for a small number of stitches, not for many many rows of knitting.

For other knitting and crochet videos, check out my channel and for all things knitting and crochet, visit http://fastfallingfeathers.blogspot.com.

Happy knitting :-)

You can work a decrease somewhere discreet, or just leave it. One extra stitch shouldn't make such a huge difference.

D'oh! That video is on a different hard drive which is currently being fixed...I'm not sure if the info will survive the procedure. In the meantime, the most important thing to watch out for when tinking is that the stitches on the left-hand needle are facing in the right direction. If you are a standard knitter, then the front leg will lead. If you are a combination or eastern knitter, then the back leg will lead.

ugh :( so I've been all over google and all over youtube and this mistake seems to be unheard of even tho it happens to me all the time. I'll knit all the way across perfectly fine, then I'll set down my project, and when I pick it up again the last stitch is just a loop and I cant fix it. I'm so angry right now cuz I have a project I've been working on for a while and it just did that :( can anyone help me?

Very clear. Nice to see this covered, since beginners are likely to make a mistake of this type.

I like your videos, they're easier to follow than most I've seen. I can't seem to find out how to 'tink' a kfb stitch. Don't suppose you have a video for that knocking around :)Thanks for all your great videos.
