Jaja... Have you ever wondered if these presets were created by JMJ himself? That is this case! Because he entered in a partnership with Roland Japan, the manufacturer of the MC808, in order to contribute to demos and presets for their products. MC-808 is one of these products. Therefore, it must not be surprising.

jmj didn`t copy those sounds... he created them.. he is the king of synthetic.. :|

it doesn't matter if it's him or not as its album is not good ! this album can't stay in memory, wait and see the next one ;)

@bananepoep JMJ was, is and always going to be GREAT!, his music was original and brilliant even when you don´t even think to start thinking, so shut up and cut the crap you are writing...oh and......by the way I see it you are tottaly FAKE, so maybe you should call yourself bananafake instead.

Jarre has been using preset patterns for a long time. Revolutions 2 is an example. Also some filler parts for his Hong Kong concerts were just complicated preset patterns on his keyboard. I'm disappointed in my hero, but I'll always support him.
-
I love Jarre's albums - but he's always loved using preset sounds - just enjoy it if you like it. A sound's a sound. Just because it's original doesn't mean it's always nice to listen to.
-
Does it matter? These sounds are there to use, does it matter JMJ uses devices that other people use aswell?
-
JM has used presets for quite a while, check Zoolook and the fairlight.

@julianherasan he didn't worked for Elka, but he worked with paul-Kevin Wiffen that's the sound designer of the sounds of Elka.
Paul, knows personally Jean. He's working with him for many years :-)

@CrossAngelProject the confusion is that the artist name on the albums is JMJ and on Teo and Tea it is clearly a collaboration project with various artists. What would have been clear would have been "Jean Michel Jarre featuring various artist such as Killian Schweer" etc... or he should create a "BAND's name... But JMJ isn't aiming ^people like us anymore....
-
The easy excuse: "yeah yeah mum, it's not coincidence!! the reason is that Jarrita worked for Roland" COME ON!!! Did he also worked for Elka and after that used the preset in the Laserharp?? LOL.
This man is a fake, a farsant, a lier, he simply a rich boy buying ideas. He simply bought Dreyfus ideas, Geis's....
After 35 years, he's still fooling the entire world and having a king's lifestile paid by you, harcore and blind fans. At least Milli Vanilli admitted tha fraud.
-
I don't believe he created that sounds, it's simply ridiculous to think that he "colaborated" with Roland without appearing in any of the adds or promoting the MC808, it's also ridiculous and silly to believe that he created the sounds and patterns and after that he made a record that only use that :) hahaha!... People very angry here, defending a farsant.....
Nice. Someone with no clue posting a video, and then more guys with no clue commenting on it.
Uhm, get a clue?
"Jean Michel Jarre explained that he entered into a partnership with Roland Japan last year, to collaborate with and contribute to demos, patterns and presets [...] Jean Michel Jarre explained that the MC808 was one of these products, therefore it is not surprising that certain elements of his new TÉO & TÉA album appear on the Roland MC-808 [...]"

@RealNC well that are some assumtions you make
i just think it's wierd to use some patterns that he made for the roland mc808 and then later on make some tracks out of it for his new album that's not very innovative any more in my opinion.
the tracks are cool don't get me wrong but he should use the machine and make something new i think

@bananepoep He made something new, and then he offered it to Roland. Isn't that hard to understand, really. You're looking for "scandals" where there are none. You should actually be happy that you can have some of Jarre's original patches on your synth.

@RealNC you get me totally wrong
maybe you should try to understand what i mean and not judge me for what i think of it
i'm not looking for scandals i just say how i think about it
it's cool that he made the patterns for the synth but it's not original to me if he later on comes with an album that sounds like the patters on the mc808

@bananepoep jean michel jarre didn't make these patterns. look at the manual and who the credits go to. there is absolutely no JMJ mentionned. So I think the authors of these patterns probably appear on the album Teo and Tea as partners or what ever... In a way I do understand your disappointment but I don't understand the fans reactions??? naive they are ...

@CrossAngelProject i don't mind if he made or did't make the patterns he uses on his album i just think it's not that original to put some old patterns from the mc808 out on his new album i don't get it
maybe there's some kind of marketing strategy to sell more mc808's ??
well if that's soo i don't think it worked.
