snow day!

last night i was stuck in traffic (and snow) for two hours taking my girlfriend home and getting back. there was an accident + the snow which clogged traffic for an hour trying to GET to her house.

coming back home, several more accidents ensued. when we finally got to our hill, it was completely snowed out. there were 10 cars stuck at the bottom along with us, so my dad decides to come down and drive us. before he gets to the bottom of the hill, though, a plow comes through and lets us all up the hill.

so. 2 hours in the very snow we spent playing in all day. after this hill shown in the video, we went to a better hill. it was so much fun going down, but it was awful getting up so we just stayed at the bottom and had a snowball fight.

note: these kids are all my brother's friends, no kids my age (11th grade) live in my neighborhood. but it was still fun!

Yea, Virginia gets ice under those 2 inches most of the time because the snow melts and freezes into a nice solid sheet. Canada has a less likely chance of that happening because the ground is usually cold enough for the snow to stick without melting.
